ill do a couple of solo shows this month in portland, but ill be focusing on the recording of some new songs for a full length that may come out next spring. !!>

"Finding that homeless people seem to be invisible to the rest of society, director Linas Phillips (WALKING TO WERNER) set out to familiarize himself with 12 people who were living on the streets of Seattle. As he developed friendships and discovered each person's particular struggles, he asked the subjects to read a famous speech from history that they felt related to their lives. Symmetrical human empathy and hope emerge alongside the constant low points of extreme poverty in one of the more intimate encounters with homelessness documented on film."

im writing from a jet lag place.
the japan tour was amazing! thanks to everyone who came out and helped out.
the art show at universal marginal is up thru the end of the month. you can see a couple of photos from the gallery and the rest of japan HERE.
they put together a cdr for the event. live recordings from the kyoto,tokyo and machida shows. limited to 100 copies, each comes with a signed photo print. if you are interested, write to them HERE. they are awesome....
i did some recording with my friend nika. maybe this fall we will share it.

THE LIVING BRIDGE is now out on Rare Book Room records. my song is DJmixed out of black dice and into samara lubelski...amazing...A 25-song collection of new and unreleased tracks by bands who've previously recorded at the Rare Book Room Studio in Brooklyn, New York. Produced by RBR's Nicolas Vernhes, these tracks were all recorded exclusively for this release. Includes songs from Avey Tare, Black Dice, Tara Jane O'Neil, Samara Lubelski, Silver Jews, Theo Angell, Deerhunter, Fischerspooner, Sam Jayne, Rings, Naysayer, and more.
